The 1930s were a time of change for our nation and the Indians. In the midst of the Great Depression, Central High School moved into a new building and thus onto their new field. (Noyes Field) With the change of venue also came a change in coaching staff. By the end of the decade, Central was again dominating opponents and accumulating high win totals. In 1937 and 1939, the Indians reached the eight win mark. The Indians dominated city play throughout the entire decade, adding to their winning record.
